It was about 2 years ago, when we had some efficiency issues within my former company. We discussed how we could improve and increase our efficiency ratio.

At this time our team leader of QS came up with an interessting approach. He was visting the Austrian "scrum stammtisch" in Vienna and suggested therefore to give it a try. We hired an external consultant which introduced us into SCRUM. He has also guided us during the first sprint.

The internal reactions were great as also our customer was impressed about how things can change for good.

Since this time the company uses SCRUM, I got Certified SCRUM master, and I am still using SCRUM in many different ways.

Because: 1) It is fun 2) It is professional 3) It is transparent 4) It helps getting things done 5) It keeps you moving 6) It keeps you on track
